Frequently Asked Questions
What are the new top level domain extensions?
The new extensions approved by ICANN, the authority that governs
the Internet domain system are .BIZ .INFO .NAME .PRO, .AERO,
.MUSEUM and .COOP.
When will I be able to register names in these extensions?
Although these names have been approved for release, the actual
release date is estimated to be between sometime in spring
of 2001. The actual release date will be decided by ICANN,
the authority that governs the Internet domain system. Because
of tremendous demand for these names in the Internet community,
it will be difficult for for registrants to get the name they
want on the actual day of registration.
Am I guaranteed to get the domain name I want?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will successfully
register your domain name as there is still a chance that
another registrar may register your name before we can as
registrations are conducted on a round-robin basis. However,
your domain(s) are submitted at the earliest possible time
to give you the best chance of a successful registration.
